This should help alleviate the "grey face bug", but you might see it disappear after a few seconds or after you wait. It is also scripted to occur every hour in game as you walk around. When you enter a cell it will attempt to refresh the 3D model of those NPCs you have turned. UPDATE: I have scripted an automatic (temporary) fix in versions 6.8 and above.
This will reload the 3D model and help them match again (or a lot closer anyway). type: setnpcweight 50 (any value from 1-100 will do)
